St Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year on March 17th, honouring the Irish patron saint, Saint Patrick. The celebrations are largely Irish culture themed and typically consist of wearing green, parades, and drinking. However, with Ireland’s proximity to our home here in Scotland we felt it was only fitting that we created a Caorunn Gin cocktail to toast the day.

When our Brand Ambassador set about creating a Caorunn Gin cocktail for St Patrick’s Day colour was her first consideration, we don’t want those leprechauns stealing our precious gin, do we? Also, as St Patricks’ Day is usually associated with green we needed a drink that matched the celebration.

We couldn’t forget flavour when creating our cocktail, we wanted to focus on the close relationship between Scotland and Ireland, we have brought together the Celtic botanicals in Caorunn with a hint of Irish Whiskey.
