We would like to think that we share a lot of characteristics with Scotland’s stunning Capital City, Edinburgh. Proud of our Scottish roots, with a positive influence around the globe, and loved the world over.
For the uninitiated, a trip to the Athens of the North is unforgettable, as centuries of history and heritage meet a thoroughly modern, cosmopolitan capital city. Beyond its renowned festivals, there is a warm welcome in Edinburgh all year round, and its unique charms will stay with you forever.
For locals and visitors alike there are a wealth of exceptional bars to eat, drink and be merry amidst the dazzling culture and stunning architecture at Edinburgh’s heart; here are just a few, but feel free to get in touch and we’d love to recommend more of our friends drinking local, and thinking global.
Justifiably renowned the world over, this unassuming New Town basement bar has an incredible reputation for good reason. Innovation and inspiration are always to the fore, but never at the expense of an amazing evening minus any pretense. Their cocktail ‘Big in Japan’ is light and approachable (just like us), with Sake and grapes lending depth and layers of flavor to complement the unique notes of Caorunn. Whatever you try you’ll feel like a regular at Bramble in no time.
One of Edinburgh’s newest venues, George IV Bridge (a stone's throw from the Royal Mile) is home for this stunning restaurant and cocktail bar. Offering incredible sharing plates with the emphasis on fresh local produce, their attention to detail is reflected in a stunning new drinks menu, and perfect ambience. Their inspired Caorunn sipper ‘Tincture, Tailor, Soldier, Spy’ has beautiful elderflower, heather and lavender notes and the bespoke Fernet lollipop is a showstopper.
The iconic store has been at the cutting edge of Edinburgh for over a decade. Venture up to the Forth Floor (named after the part of the sea you can see from its stunning panoramic views) and you'll discover a wealth of substance to add to their style. Perfect any time of day or night, the bar is intimate and chic. Try the floral and fruity ‘Plum Dog Millionaire’, with hints of plum liqueur, lemon juice and lavender served over ice in a jam jar, and tell them we sent you.
