The Rowan Martini

The Rowan Berry is a twist on the original Martini – The Martinez. The light cloudy red Martini has a sweet mouthfeel and strong alcohol depth. The flamed orange zest adds a fresh perfume and ties in with the use of Orange Peel in the botanicals of Caorunn. One for established Martini drinkers who will appreciate the twist on the original.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Caorunn Gin
  • 2 drops Angostura bitters
  • 10ml Sweet Vermouth
  • 15ml Crème de Mure

Glass

  • 6oz Martini/cocktail glass

Garnish

  • Flamed orange zest

Method

  • Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled glass.
